Journal – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the Journal?
The Journal is your personal performance tracker inside CopyWins. Whether you're following sports picks, trading the markets, or participating in prediction markets, the Journal helps you log every result and automatically track your overall performance.
Instead of trying to remember your wins and losses, the Journal provides a simple way to record your activity, calculate your profit and loss (PnL), and monitor your progress over time.
The Journal is available on both the CopyWins mobile app and the web platform, allowing you to update your results from anywhere.
How do I use the Journal?
Using the Journal only takes a few seconds.
Open Journal from the navigation menu.
Create or select your daily entry.
Mark the outcome of your day as one of the following:
Win – Your day finished in profit.
Loss – Your day finished at a loss.
Void – Your wagers or trades were voided, cancelled, or resulted in no meaningful outcome.
Enter your profit or loss amount (PnL), if applicable.
Save your entry.
Once saved, your Journal automatically updates your performance statistics.
What does Win, Loss, and Void mean?
Win
A profitable day where your overall result finished positive.
Loss
A losing day where your overall result finished negative.
Void
A day where no profit or loss occurred, such as cancelled bets, refunded wagers, invalid trades, or days you wish to log without affecting your statistics.
What is PnL?
PnL stands for Profit and Loss.
It represents how much money you gained or lost during a particular day. Your Journal uses these entries to calculate your overall performance across different time periods.
What statistics does the Journal calculate?
As you continue logging your activity, the Journal automatically tracks your performance, including:
Daily Profit & Loss (PnL)
Weekly Profit & Loss
Monthly Profit & Loss
Overall performance history
Win days
Loss days
Void days
Your statistics update automatically each time you save a new Journal entry.
Do I have to calculate my totals myself?
No.
The Journal automatically performs the calculations for you. Every entry contributes to your running statistics, making it easy to understand how you're performing without manually using spreadsheets or calculators.
Why should I use the Journal?
Consistently tracking your performance helps you become more disciplined and informed over time.
Using the Journal can help you:
Keep an organized history of your activity.
Monitor your daily, weekly, and monthly results.
Identify winning and losing trends.
Build better long-term habits.

Your entries stay synchronized with your account, allowing you to update and review your Journal from either platform.

The Journal is an organizational and tracking tool only. It records the information you choose to enter and automatically calculates your performance statistics. It does not provide financial, investment, trading, betting, or prediction advice, nor does it guarantee future results.
Best Practices for Using the Journal
To get the most value from your Journal:
Log your results consistently after each day.
Record accurate Profit & Loss amounts.
Use Void only when no meaningful result occurred.
Review your weekly and monthly performance to identify trends.
Focus on long-term consistency rather than individual winning or losing days.
Over time, maintaining an accurate Journal can provide valuable insights into your overall performance and help you make more informed decisions based on your own historical results.
